KYT (Know Your Token) is Degen Archive’s research-focused initiative to document and explain tokens in the Solana ecosystem.
It is not a promotional tool.
It is not a marketing package.
It is not a pay-to-win shill feature.
Instead, KYT is a public education resource meant to help community members, traders, devs, and researchers better understand what a token is, how it works, and where it fits in the broader ecosystem.
🔎 Why KYT Exists
Crypto moves fast — especially on Solana. Every day, new tokens launch, and most of them disappear just as quickly. Information is scattered, founders are anon, and narratives are muddy.
KYT exists to bring clarity, context, and accountability.
We believe people deserve access to neutral, technically accurate summaries of tokens — so they can research on their own terms, with full transparency.
📘 What a KYT Article Covers
A typical KYT article includes:
- Project origin story and founder visibility (if available)
- Smart contract and deployment data
- Token utility (what it’s meant to do)
- Supply breakdown, distribution, and mint logic
- Community traction and sentiment
- Social presence, memes, and narrative positioning
- Associated risks or red flags
- External links for further reading
We may also include relevant GitHub links, audit reports (if any), and active contract data.

To keep KYT educational and unbiased, we do not include:
- Price projections or financial commentary
- Price charts or TA
- Hype-based language or buzzwords
- Affiliate or referral links
- Paid placements or token promotion
We do not write articles as a service — and inclusion in KYT is based on editorial judgment, not payment.

We review each submission internally and determine whether it fits the KYT criteria. Inclusion is not guaranteed, and we reserve the right to edit or decline any listing.
